Happy Sunday Funday!
I hope you are enjoying a lovely day doing whatever it is you please. I’m keeping it short and sweet as I’m hoping to head out the door soon to cheer on friends and a coaching client at one of my favorite local races, Wallis Sands 1/2 Marathon. This will be the first year, in 3 years that I have not run it. I’m a little sad, but my plan, even before my injury, was not to run it. I’m OK with it. Ironically, last year I ran it coming off another tendon injury. And I ran it naked. You can read my 13.1 thoughts for 13.1 miles to find out how that went.
Have a great day!

That rice seriously sounds heavenly–I need to go make that too! <3
I hope the race was fun!! It can be hard to be at a race not racing when you’ve done it every other year. It was a warm day for racing here!

The logistics didn’t work out for me to spectate. Family comes first! I’m bummed I missed it, but at the same time I know I would have really, really, really wanted to run while there.
I tried a new fish taco recipe tonight. It was amazing! We tried a new fish we’ve never had, called Paiche. Perfect for the grill and the tacos. The recipe can be found on Whole Foods Kildeer’s facebook page. We’ll be having this one again! Everyone liked it.
