My ‘feeling better from my cold’ feelings didn’t last long. By Thursday evening, I was feeling icky again. Icky as in sinus pressure and tooth pain. Friday was spent wanting to just bury my head in a pillow to alleviate the pain. By the time I woke up Saturday morning, I knew I had to get it checked out. I knew that it was a sinus infection. And it’s bacterial. So I’m on antibiotics. I really didn’t want to but if it’s going to stop the pain, then I’m all for it. After 10 days, I’m ready to get rid of this sickness for good.

Fingers crossed it clears up fast.

Since it was raining and chilly outside, it was the perfect day to lay low and rest. We watched “Harry Potter” for the first time as a family. I thought the kids would be scared but they actually really liked it. And I liked it. Which was a total surprise. I had no interest in reading the books when they were popular. But now I kind of want to.

It’s Sunday, so it’s time to plan out what’s for dinner.

Sunday: Pesto Salmon + roasted Brussels sprouts

Monday: Crockpot Two Bean Veggie Chili

Tuesday: Taco Tuesday

Wednesday: Tortellini Minestrone

Thursday: Whole Roasted Chicken + roasted squash

Friday: Ron’s homemade pizza

Saturday: Date Night
