What’s for Dinner? {Week of October 16}

What's for dinner this week I've got a weeks worth of easy, healthy meal planning ideas for the whole family to enjoy. happyfitmama.com

It feels really weird not to be running long this weekend.

Actually it feels really strange not to be running at all.

My flu/cold/sinus infection, or whatever it is, feels better at times. But then I’ll get hit with the intense sinus pressure and will only want to lay down to alleviate the pain. That’s basically how I spent Saturday. And running? I can’t even fathom running 2 steps right now.

I spent the whole day Friday on the couch again. I don’t think I’ve spent two whole, uninterrupted days of doing nothing but veggie out in front of the T.V. in a very, very long time. Obviously it was sometime before kids. I don’t know if I should admit this but I spent one whole day catching up on Dancing with the Stars. During the winter I get in the habit of watching that show while on the treadmill. Maybe it’s the music and the dancing, but it keeps me entertained. I wanted to watch something mindless. I got it.

If I had to get sick, I’m thankful that I had at least 2 days at home by myself while the kids were in school. Of course, as soon as they came home I was thrown back into reality.

It’s Sunday, so that means it’s meal planning day. Time to figure out What’s for Dinner?

Monday: Crockpot Two Bean Veggie Chili

Tuesday: Fish Tacos
