Holy moley – how is it May 1st?!?!
Is anyone else blown away by this as much as me? Wasn’t it just March? What happened to April? What’s with all the questions?
Seriously. Time needs to s-l-o-w down. Before I know it I’ll be exclaiming – How is it September 1st?
So what’s been going on this weekend?
Saturday was a full day of running, gymnastics, baseball, baking and enjoying the sunshine. Thank goodness for sunshine and blue skies. It really makes all the difference in my mood. I may be freezing but at least the sun is there to warm me up. When I ran in the morning, it was only 33 degrees. Whenever I was in the shade, I froze. I purposely went a route that had the max amount of sunshine and hills. Oh so many hills. My right glute is feeling it too. Whenever I was sitting, I was sitting on a lacrosse ball. Ouch. Thankfully, I have a massage scheduled for this week to nip it in the bud or butt.
Today is supposed to be cloudy and raining. I’m not sure what our plans for the day are other than I need my yoga fix (I haven’t been all week) and a short run.
On to meal planning! What’s for dinner this week?
Sunday: Grilled Salmon on top of Strawberry Quinoa Salad
Monday: Crispy Chili Chicken w/ Broccoli
Tuesday: Pesto Shrimp w/ Zoodles
Wednesday: Avocado Egg Toasts + Green Smoothies
Thursday: Black Bean Salsa Soup w/ Sprouted Brown Rice
Friday: Pizza Night
Saturday: Wing it!
