I’m usually not a big tea drinker. I’m much more of a coffee drinker. However, I will make one exception. Chai Tea. My biggest complaint about tea is that it tastes like hot water. Not so with chai. It’s so full of all the warming flavors that I love. I’ve never been able to make the perfect cup of chai at home. It never seemed to taste as good as from a coffee shop.
TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods are made with real tea leaves. It combines the flavors of sweet cinnamon, fragrant cardamom, and spicy ginger. With over 5,00 years of Indian history, chai is a perfect amount of sweetness and spice, with spice coming in at the end for just the right amount of kick.
Brewing the drink is a two step process, you start by adding a powdered mix, which is basically a sweetened dairy blend, to the cup before you brew. Then brew the K-Cup® pod as usual, stir and enjoy! There’s nothing else to add.
I first tried the vanilla caramel flavor because I am a huge fan of anything caramel. It did not disappoint at all. There was just the right amount of flavor and creaminess to make it definitely taste more than just hot water. The classic latte is the same – oh so good!
TAZO® has partnered with New York Times Bestselling author and host Padma Lakshmi to celebrate the release of the new K-Cup® pods.Tea and chai have always been a part of Padma Lakshmi’s life and family heritage and she is excited to celebrate the flavors of chai with TAZO®.
