Hey, hey it’s Friday!

I was going through my old workouts the other day looking for something that I could fit in under 30 minutes and would leave me a sweaty mess. I also wanted something that was going to leave a Rorschach Test on my tummy.

It’s a common misconception that you need hours and hours of exercise to see any benefit. In reality, you can get a fantastic workout in 30 minutes or less if that’s all you have time for. Something is always better than nothing! It’s really about how much effort you are putting into the workout. Don’t just go through the motions. Activate all your muscles with every movement to make it count.

  1. Fantastic article. I completely agree, workouts don’t have to be long to be effective. And home workouts can be just as valuable as gym workouts. In fact, it’s usually much easier to do circuit training at home as opposed to the gym. A sweat is harder to work up to if you have to wait 5 minutes for the next available piece of equipment. Anyway, enjoying this blog so far. Thanks for the great post.

  2. As your body adapts to exercise, you’ll need to push yourself more and more to get the same cardiovascular workout. Another way to know that it’s time to pick up the pace is if you see your weight or waist size start creeping up on you.
