High Five Friday {Stitch Fix #3}

Happy Friday!

I’m changing it up a little bit this week. Rather than share my 5 fav photos from Instagram and 5 Links, I’m sharing my latest Stitch Fix. Five pieces of clothing deserves a high 5, right? Especially since I had really good luck with this one.

If you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix, here’s the scoop:

Basically, it’s an online styling service. You create an online profile with your likes and leave it up to the stylists to pick out items. Based from this information, they send you 5 articles of clothing that get delivered right to your door. You can chose to have it delivered as little or often as you like.

It’s $20 a fix, but as long as you keep one item you can apply that toward the price.  So you only lose money if you don’t keep a single thing (and you get a 25% discount if you keep it all!).

Then from there, you can try everything on and figure out what you want to save and what you want to keep. A prepaid USPS envelope is included for easy returns for items you don’t keep.

Here’s what I got in Stitch Fix #3:

Stitch Fix 3 | happyfitmama.com

  • 41 Hawthorn Lizzy Colorblock Striped Sweater – Completely me. I have a serious problem when it comes to stripes. KEEP!
  • Pixley Edmond Chevron Print Henley Shirt – This shirt is super soft and comfy. My son kept on wanting to rub my arms or back when I was trying it on. KEEP!
  • Hem & Thread Harlen Zip Detail Poncho – At first I was like, “A poncho?” Totally not my thing. But then I tried it on. It was so comfy and warm. I really like the hood and 1/2 zip detail. KEEP!
  • Octavia Dean Diamond Stitch Knit Infinity Scarf – Another item I wasn’t sure about. I love scarves but the fringe made me think it looked like an afghan. But it was love at first loop. I was so cold before I put it on and instantly warmed up. KEEP!

The last piece was Kut From the Kloth Giuliana Bootcut Jeans in Navy. Cute jeans but I was sent a navy skinny jean in my last fix. They fit great so I decided to keep them just because of the 25% discount in buying all 5 items. I couldn’t get a really great pic of them. Just picture cute navy jeans, k?

After my last two fixes during the spring/summer, I wasn’t really happy with what I received. So I took a 4 month break. My stylist really got me this time around. I kept 5/5 pieces. Cute clothes that fit great and I didn’t have to go to the mall at all?

Stitch Fix made my day.

    1. So far I’ve had good luck with the fit of bottoms. There was only one pair that was way too long. I’m sure I could have had it hemmed but I just didn’t want to deal with it.

  1. I have to say that I saw this on Instagram (I think?) and I really loved ALL the pieces as well. I’ve had a hard time with sweaters this winter and I think that stripe one is adorable!! And chevron henley? My dream shirt.
You may have just changed my mind about StitchFix. Can I just order the “Angela” set please? 🙂

    1. That’s one of my problems. I usually stick with the same thing. Stitch Fix is great for getting out of a clothing rut and trying something you might not otherwise even look at.

  2. I love the sweater- I’m with you on the stripes. I don’t wear real clothes often enough to justify buying anything, so you can imagine what my wardrobe looks like– let’s just say my clothes have a theme song and it, “Party like it’s 1999” I really need to make a visit to my nearest dumpster, wink, wink- haha! You are drop dead gorgeous and make all of these pieces look like something I’d want to wear. Have a great weekend my lovely friend. xo

    1. I really don’t have any place to go to justify buying new stuff either. But when I look at some stuff and realize it’s older than dirt (aka ’99), I know it’s time to head to the dumpster. Like if I found a tie dye shirt from high school…it would so need to be tossed. 😉

  3. Wow – super cute stuff! I still haven’t tried Stitch Fix but maybe I will. The other day I was at a business lunch and a couple of the ladies there were talking about it, too.
    Loved the fashion show today!!
