Pin It Party!

Hey guys!

It’s another edition of the Pin It Party today!

Are you following me on Pinterest? If not, click HERE.

A big thanks to Lindsay for hosting again.

If you’ve never attended before, here’s the details.  The purpose of a Pin It Party is for bloggers to gain Pinterest exposure to some of their best posts and to help drive traffic to their blogs.

If you’re a reader, remember that pinning images from blog posts you love is a great way to support your favorite bloggers! It helps more people see the posts and can help the blogs grow. So in addition to my post, check out some of the others that are linked up at Lindsay’s and pin away!

Here’s what I’m bringing to the party –

Essential Stretches For Runners HappyFitMama.comEssential Stretches for Runners

I’m a fan of stretching after a run. The truth is, I usually don’t have a ton of time to do it. I try to get in at least a few stretches before hopping in the shower to get my day started. These 6 are quick, easy and target all the major running muscles.

Functional Fitness Workout happyfitmama.comFunctional Fitness Workout

One of the big trends for 2014 is more functional fitness exercises. People want to train their body for life not just right now. What makes an exercise functional is the use of all your muscles in different planes. Functional training re-teaches correct movement patterns, builds balance, flexibility, core strength, and therefore eases daily living. Something we all need more of in our lives!

Oat and Quinoa Granola (1) HappyFitMama.comOat and Quinoa Granola

I love this granola! Nothing is better than a homemade granola that you know exactly what is in it. This granola recipe is a staple in our house. I vary the mix ins to what we have on hand. It’s always a winner no matter what!

3 ingredient cookie bites happyfitmama.com3 Ingredient Cookie Bites

These are the perfect little bites to have on hand when you’ve got a craving for a cookie. Simple, delicious and ready in less than 10 minutes.

Apple Pie Smoothie HappyFitMama.comApple Pie Smoothie

Perfect for breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner. This Apple Pie Smoothie is thick and hearty thanks to the oats but also creamy from the peanut butter and Greek yogurt. It’s full of protein to keep you running for hours in your daily life.

So start pinning away! If you are on Pinterest, leave your URL in the comments and I’ll follow you back. I’m always looking for yummy food to make, workouts to try and new inspiration.

  1. I love all of those recommended for runners stretches. They are the ones I’m doing now after each run, religiously. It’s my new religion … stretching more. 🙂 I do find they are making a world of difference!
