I hope you are having a fantastic weekend enjoying whatever it is you like. I had a great run with friends yesterday morning. It was my first long run in 5 weeks! It’s hard to come back after a sinus infection that had me glued to the couch or bed on more days than not. But you have to start somewhere, right?
Besides running, I cleaned out my kid’s playroom (finally!), did a little shopping and settled in for family game night and a movie. Today is my son’s last flag football game of the season (yay…we are all so glad it’s over with!). Fingers crossed we’ll be able to take a little walk in the woods in the afternoon. Not the most exciting weekend, but low key weekends are the best. Plus, after the roller coaster week of emotions, it felt good to be kind of lazy.
It’s Sunday, so it’s meal planning day.

Thursday: Pesto Chicken + roasted asparagus and baby potatoes
Friday: Homemade Pizza Night
Saturday: Wing it!
