Hi everyone!

Happy Easter! I hope you are doing exactly what you want to be doing on this day. We are keeping it pretty low key with an egg hunt and brunch. Maybe a little hike in the woods or a little Vitamin Sea therapy at the beach will happen in the afternoon if the weather holds out. I’m ready for spring weather to stay!

Confession – I’ve become an afternoon runner on the weekends. And I don’t mind it. After all my years of strictly being a early morning runner, I never thought the afternoon would be for me. But with kid activities in the morning on Saturday and my favorite yoga class in the morning on Sunday, I’ve found that if I want to do it all, I’ve got to carve out time in the afternoon for a run. Sure I could wake up at zero dark thirty like I do during the week, but I’ve found that my body wants to wake up when it wants to. I like having breakfast with my family. Maybe when the marathon training picks up again, I’ll change my mind. But right now, it works for me.

It’s Sunday so that means meal planning.

What’s for dinner this week?

Sunday: Easter dinner
Monday: Crockpot Black Bean Quinoa Soup
Tuesday: School event
Wednesday: Easy Chicken Lo Mein
Thursday: Curried Cashew Salmon and Quinoa
Friday: Pizza night
Saturday:Wing it!

  1. It’s so nice to have the weekend mornings free! That was part of what I burned out on during marathon training… early mornings every day! I’ve never tried afternoon weekend runs but I think I may need to give that a try! Enjoy your Easter Sunday!
