Happy Spring everyone!
Apparently, winter is not over just yet. After weeks of warm temperatures, flowers blooming, the grass turning green and all of the winter gear put away, winter has returned. I had to break out the layers and heavy running mittens yesterday for my run. The wind was not nice! The forecast keeps changing by the minute but it looks like snow isn’t going to be as big as a deal as originally predicted. The good news is that no matter how much snow we do get, it’s not lasting. Good thing. I’m kind of over winter.
Yesterday Ron and I had a lovely date afternoon. We hadn’t done that in awhile. We didn’t do anything special other than enjoy a quiet lunch and some shopping. It’s the little things that are really big things when you can accomplish tasks without two kids causing a ruckus and asking when we are going to be done. Besides, I think they have more fun with their babysitter than us anyway!
It’s Sunday, so it’s meal planning day.
