Let’s play a little catch up, marvelous style!
Marvelous is…My Boston Marathon Singlet. Isn’t it pretty? I can’t say I love the purple and orange colors this year, but I love this singlet. It’s absolutely perfect. I love that they added the B.A.A. unicorn. I know I should try it out on a run before race day, but I feel like it’s bad luck. BTW – 14 days!
Marvelous is…Running in shorts. I’ve had the pleasure of it being warm enough to run in shorts OUTSIDE twice in the past week. Yes, it was only in the low to mid 40s but it felt so good. My legs felt alive and free. Just like I woke up from a long winter’s nap. I refuse to wear full tights anymore this season. And I refuse to believe the big snowflake on the forecast for this week will actually happen. Oh and my knee is feeling 100% better.
Marvelous is…Stonyfield Oh My Yog! Seriously, you guys need this yogurt in your life. SO flippin’ good. It’s like dessert.
Marvelous is…Running hills. Ok. Hills really aren’t marvelous, but on my 14 miler over the weekend, I purposely picked the hilliest route I could think of. Mostly I did it for practicing downhills. The last time I ran a portion of the route was the Summerfest 10k back in July. It kicked my butt then but really didn’t seem that bad this time around. And I even had a wicked strong headwind the last 5 miles. It felt good to know that I’m getting stronger.
Marvelous is…Tom’s of Maine. I’m happy to announce that I am part of the Tom’s of Maine Goodness Circle. A friend of mine introduced me to their products 9 years ago when we moved to New Hampshire. They are a local company who also believes in giving back to the community in addition to providing natural products that never has artificial colors, flavors, fragrances, preservatives or animal testing. Did you know that they now have a whole line of body washes, lotions and lip care for the whole family? Stay tuned for more goodness from Tom’s throughout the year!
Your turn! What’s marvelous for you right now?
