Happy Marathon Monday for REAL everyone! I’m so excited for my friends and favorite bloggers who are running the Boston Marathon today. I had hoped to head down to the city to spectate but a coworker had to take the day off. It stinks but we’ll have all the TVs tuned in to the live coverage all morning. What a difference a year makes. Remember last year? The forecast is calling for near perfect conditions. Best of luck runners!
So how is training going for my own marathon? I’m 6 weeks away from the big day and the miles keeping adding up. I’m feeling fatigued but I’m blaming this pesky cold right now. If I can just get rid of the stuffed nose, I’ll be golden.
Watch on for a recap of the week and my long run on Saturday:
Monday: 7 miles – 5 miles @ 8:00 pace + warm and cool down + strength
Tuesday: 8 miles – 4 easy on the treadmill in the a.m. + 4 miles not so easy pushing the double stroller in the p.m. + yoga
Wednesday: 60 minute bike trainer + strength + p.m. yoga
Thursday: 8 miles – new treadmill PDR – blech! That’s something I never wanted to achieve.
Saturday: 16 miles
