Hi Friends!
I’m happy to report that I am feeling much, much better than I was one week ago. I’ve still got a little residual sniffles but I’m over the worst. Aches and chills aren’t any fun anyway but especially when you are training for a marathon. Blah!
I’m going to do a weekly vlog update of my training this time around again. It’s a good way for me to practice being in front of the camera and gives you a break from just reading my ramblings.
Synopsis of last week’s workouts -
Sunday: Rest
Monday: Easy run 5 miles + strength + evening yoga
Tuesday: Rest
Wednesday: Easy run 3 miles
Thursday: Easy run 5 miles + Cathe Xtrain Tabata 1
Friday: Bike Trainer 50 minutes
Saturday: Easy run 7 miles
Not too bad considering how crappy I felt at the beginning of the week. If I was going to get sick at anytime during this training cycle, I’m glad it was during this week.
Here’s to a healthier upcoming week of training and getting rid of this cold entirely!

SO frustrating when you get sick during training. You feel helpless! Glad to hear you are feeling better and getting back on track. I am looking forward to reading about the marathon!

So glad you are feeling better! And that you still got some training in. You’re right–if you had to get sick, better now before your miles are big and you’re missing major training. Smart planning! ; )

It’s a fun way to mix it up. I just need to get a little bit better at editing and making sure Cooper does knock over the camera.
You had a pretty good week for feeling sick! I’m glad it’s finally getting better. Love that you’re doing more vlogs! I’ve been wanting to do more, but never feel like I have something worth chatting about… marathon training is a good one.

I feel the same way about vlogs. At least the marathon gives me excuse to blab on camera.
Glad you’re feeling a little better. Good luck with this week’s training!

I agree with others: good job for the week for being sick. I am increasingly getting convinced that vlogging is the way to go every once in a while. You do it well by keeping it short and sweet!
