Raise your hand if you like granola bars and bites?
If you are like everyone in my family, then your hands are raised high to the sky.
Finding a great tasting and nutritious granola bar is not an easy task. Add on finding an allergy friendly bar and the options become even less. Making your own version is always an option but let’s be realistic, there’s not always time for that.
Well, there’s a new snack in town that fits almost everyone’s needs.
Made Good is a company that provides healthy snacks that are nutritious, allergen friendly and minimally processed. Each bar or mini is gluten free, organic, non-GMO project verified and free from the 8 common allergens (peanut, tree nuts, egg, wheat, soy, sesame, and fish). There’s also 1 serving of veggies from 6 vegetable sources (spinach, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, beets, shiitake mushrooms).
I know you are wondering – But how do they taste?
Delicious! My kids happily chomped all the bars and minis. I have been too. There’s no funny taste from the sneaky veggies. All you taste is the real ingredients. My kids have been requesting a bar or bag of mini’s in their lunchbox. My kids don’t have any allergy restrictions at their school but it’s always nice to have options just in case.
The granola bars come in four flavors: Apple Cinnamon, Chocolate Banana, Chocolate Chip, and Mixed Berry. The mini’s come in cute individual serving bags and come in Apple Cinnamon, Chocolate Banana, Chocolate Chip, and Strawberry. Granola Mini’s have 4 bags per box, while the Granola Bars have 6 per box.
