My Semi-Holiday Hiatus is coming to a close. It was pretty freakin’ marvelous. It was wonderful to have my parents here. We hung out, played in the snow and just enjoyed being together. My one regret is that Ron and I didn’t get to go snowboarding (dang rain/ice storm!). But we did get to spend some alone time away in addition to loads of family time. I thought I’d do a little recap of all the fun we’ve been having lately. Prepare for an overdose of pictures aka major photo dump.
Santa’s house. He really should shovel his walk. Guess he’s been busy.
Gotta love gifts that come wrapped like this.
Loving this #PureProject jacket from Brooks except it’s a little too cold right now for it. You’ll be seeing more of me in it in the Spring for sure.
Date day! This was one of the best beers I’ve had in a very long time. Maybe it was because my kids were nuts the hours leading up till we escaped from the house? Of course, as soon as we left, the whining and fighting stopped for the rest of the day for Grandma and Grandpa.
These cookies are crack. Could.not.stop.eating.
Want a serious workout? Run up and down the aisles of Home Depot pushing two toddlers in a racing car cart. Orders were being barked to RUN FASTER! I had to pass the cart off to my mom to take a breather. At least it kept them entertained.
Look! I’m not wearing workout clothes! FYI – I got that skirt 5 years ago for less than $10. The tags were still on it. Totally forgot about it. Opps!
Christmas breakfast – Stonewall Kitchen makes THE BEST pancake mix. Topped with warmed berries in coconut oil with a side of Veggie Rolled Omelet. I’ve made the rolled omelet twice with whatever veggies I have available. It is so good! Went back for seconds. Mmmmm!
One happy, little guy with his firetruck. Santa scored an awesome deal on this from a consignment store. And thankfully, the siren was disabled by the previous owner. An even better deal in my opinion. 😉
Let’s catch up!
How was your Christmas?
