1 ) No shorts and t-shirt running this week for me. Winter has returned. Sigh. It was nice while it lasted!
2 ) Bosu basement strength workout. Did you see the workout I shared on Monday?
3 ) Afternoon snack delight with my favorite Stonyfield yogurt and fresh raspberries.
4 ) I’ve reached the point in marathon training where it’s double digits on a Tuesday.
5 ) How creepy is this clown? And I couldn’t stop singing “Everything is awesome!” while at Legoland. If you’ve seen the Lego movie, you know what I mean.
1 ) Wheels Up 17 – #PressPause – When’s the last time you pressed pause in your busy day? I know I usually fly from one thing to the next. I love this post from Steph – “Make room to press pause each day. To breathe in and breathe out. To take in the moment. To give yourself credit and thanks for all that you do. Don’t skip the present. Align the body and the mind and make room for gratitude in your life.”

3 ) Shame on You Running Community – I’m sure by now you heard about the woman who cheated in a half marathon and claimed second place. I by no means thing it is right that this person did this. I can’t even fathom why someone would do that. What I don’t understand is the need for the witch hunt and picking about this person’s life. They should be punished for what they have done but I don’t think it needs to be an online blood bath.
4 ) Meet a Man Who’s Been Leaving a Cold Water Bottle for a Stranger – If you want some good news, here it is. Nothing but pure kindness for others. I love it!
5 ) Running for Fitness vs Running to Race – When I’m with my running friends, it seems completely normal to be striving for more miles and a higher intensity. When I’m with non runner friends, I began to question my sanity. Why do I do this to myself? After not really racing for a year, I can honestly say I would be happy to run and not race. But for right now, I’m choosing to chase after goals.
