  • Whee!!! Hooray for Spring, bike riding and being outside!
  • 3 Ingredient Cookie Bite love.
  • Rainy day Sunday morning coffee date with my littles.
  • It’s always awesome when you come home from a really long day at work to have a delicious dinner waiting for you. Hubs of the Year Award to Ron!
  • Going upside down after my run to feel right side up.

5 Links

  • Amy Purdy on DWTS – I’ve been watching DWTS during my early morning runs on the treadmill. Amy is unbelievable! Although after this weeks dance, I’m not sure I should watch. Bawling like a baby while running is very, very difficult.

5 Things

  • I’ve developed a slight addiction to Starbucks since becoming a Gold Card Member. The lure of more free drinks keeps me going back for more!
  • I’m running another 5k next weekend. Who am I? This course is mostly flat so I’m very curious to see how my time is compared to my first last month.
  • I’m sad that I have to wait till the Fall for more of The Walking Dead.
  • I still haven’t found a new yoga studio home. Now that the weather is getting nicer I don’t really want to be inside. Maybe I should look for a studio with yoga on the beach this summer? That sounds much more appealing.
  • Crowd sourcing – If you could run any Fall Marathon in the Continental U.S., which one would you pick? I asked this on my Facebook page earlier in the week but I want more feedback. πŸ™‚

Your turn! What would you like to High Five today?

  2. Awesome! yes, it has been beautiful this week, so nice to be outside. I agree that I am looking for an outdoor yoga location….hot yoga on a hot day isnt appealing to me very much πŸ™

Love that morning people post πŸ™‚

  3. I am definitely NOT a snooze button person. I just don’t get it…I’d rather have 20 more minutes uninterrupted than having to lean over to hit a button every 5 minutes.
Also, not sure what drink you get at Starbucks, but I can only handle their plain hot or iced coffee {the syrup does bad things to my stomach}. So I rack up my stars on my cheapy drink, then whenever I hit a free drink I treat someone I know to their expensive, fancy coffee drink. This way I’m making someone’s day a little brighter AND I’m sticking it to the man {Starbucks}. HA HA

  4. Oh checking out the 27 struggles article. And upside down after a run? Interesting idea. I love putting my feet up on the wall. And the walking dead. … it’s always so intense that I’m kind of looking forward to the break again!

  5. Wait just a minute–I thought that whole fall marathon thing had already been decided?! ; ) Hope you find the perfect one for you.

You look totally badass in that handstand picture! I say yes to beach yoga–how relaxing that would be.

  6. Haha, loved the morning person article link. I’m a morning person, and found that it didn’t include any of the downsides. For instance, morning people (like most people) typically lose more energy throughout the day. This is true for at least me anyway. Anyway, happy Friday!

  7. I get up early every day but I don’t know if I will ever really consider myself a morning person – as long as I don’t have to be friendly in the early morning I guess I’m OK.
Loved all the links – some fun reading today!!

  8. I am high fiving that I am FINALLY feeling better! Long haul. This was entertaining. Those were some good links. I have been trying to find a new yoga studio too. I am very picky. I like the studio to be authentic.
