Hey, hey, hey – It’s High Five Friday!
Not sure what I’m talking about? Get all the details HERE so you can jump on in and spread GOOD news from your week.
5 from Instagram – I share more pics on Instagram. Are you following me? Please do!
Morning miles along the beach. Summer living at it’s best!
Cross training at the playground. So many fun tools to use there!
Warm summer nights call for sippin’ on the patio. And yeah, I bought the Mt. Washington pint glass even if I drink water from it more than beer.
When your Saucony Xodus ISO’s match the wild blueberries you find along the trail, you must take a picture. Saucony sent me the Xodus recently and I’ve only had a couple of runs in them since my foot has been wonky. So far, I’m loving them! They stick like glue to any surface – even wet rocks. You can find all of their specs in the link below. FYI – affiliate link
The perfect way to end a super sweaty summer run – through the sprinklers!
5 Good Things
5 Girl Bosses Who Happen to Run – Inspiration to dream big and go after your goals. Seriously cool ladies who just so happen to be runners. Coincidence? I think not.
Finding Joy in the DNS – I’ve had my fair share of DNS races in the past two years. Ok, it’s really NOT fair but whatever. I can’t say I’ve found joy in it but Amelia sheds some light on the subject. I don’t believe the saying – Everything happens for a reason – but I do believe that you can find joy in almost anything.
Parents Tell Son His Lost Elephant is ‘Traveling’: Internet Backs Them Up – How cute is this? It really shows that there are good people out there who like to do good things for others.
Why Mothers Are Tough As Nails – This article focuses on mother’s who have given birth, but I think ALL mother’s are stronger than strong. Motherhood is not for the faint of heart. You need to be tough mentally and physically. High five to all of us!
I Love My RBF – This is an article from awhile ago that I had bookmarked. It caught my eye because we had just been talking about RBF (resting bitch face if you don’t know what I’m talking about) at work. I think we all have it – men and women – especially during a race. It then morphs to racing bitch face. It’s like – game on!
