5 Good Things
Girl Power – I don’t know where I found this, but I absolutely love it. Women are taking over the running scene. We are a she-pack. Watch us roar!
On the Definition of Being Healthy – Healthy has a different meaning for all of us. Case in point – I had a patient bring in a “healthy” treat for the staff. It was a fat-free, sugar bomb, food coloring nightmare labeled as a cookie. He thought it was healthy. I, apparently, did not. This is definitely a good conversation starter.
Notes from a Child-Full Life – For the longest time, I wasn’t sure I wanted to have kids. But then one day it hit me. Not everyone wants kids, that’s cool. But just because you have kids, doesn’t mean your life is over. It’s just a different, fuller life.
Mental Freakouts – How to Stay Strong – I think we’ve all had a mental freak out in racing or in life in general. It happens to the best of us, even elite athletes. How you deal with it can be a game changer in the race. “In essence, you are being your own best friend.” Don’t be your worst enemy. Be your best friend.
The Secret to Feeling Incredible in a Bikini – Buy a bikini, wear it. Boom! Kellie nailed this spot on.
