7 Green Recipes for St. Patrick’s Day

So tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day (and my birthday but we’ll talk about that tomorrow).

Green beer, corned beef and cabbage, leprechauns, pot o’ gold. Everyone is Irish tomorrow and should be sporting the green. You don’t want to get pinched, right?

Do you celebrate with the traditional food?

I don’t.

I’m not really a fan of Irish food although I do like a good beer. Just don’t ruin it by putting green food coloring in it!

So if you are like me and prefer your food and drink dye free, I’ve got 7 Green recipes for St. Patrick’s Day that are full of nothing but all natural green goodness.

  1. I absolutely cannot stand Corned Beef and cabbage. Boiled meat? Eww. So my husband makes Irish stew. It’s made with lamb, also not a fave, but tolerable in this recipe. Marriage is all about compromise, right?

We like to do something Irish (even though we aren’t) on St. Patrick’s day although this year we might not since Jordan is due home late in the afternoon and he will be exhausted!!
