How’s it going today? It’s Wednesday already. Time to start thinking about the weekend. Who am I kidding? I was thinking about the weekend Monday morning as I drove into work!
I’ve got something really fun for everyone today but first things first. Let’s talk milk! I saw this article in the April/May edition of Kiwi Magazine. It described how to make a nondairy milk like beverage at home. Cool, right? What you do is add 4 cups of cold water, 1/3 cup of nut or seed butter (almond, cashew, or sunflower seed butter are the recommended flavors), and 1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract. Blend it together for 1 minute or till completely mixed. Serve! Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two days. It doesn’t seem like it would be a money saver since most nut butters are pretty expensive. I think it would be great to do for those “just in case” moments when you run out of milk or maybe to jazz up a smoothie. I’m going to give it a try soon!

Before you begin the plan, warm up at an easy pace for 5-10 minutes with light cardio such as walking. For the weighted exercises, chose a weight that will be challenging enough that the last repetition is almost unbearable. Rest 60-90 seconds in between each Superset.
