February 2013 in Review

Holy cow, it’s the last day of February! It seems like I was just reviewing January. Another month down, another step closer to Spring. Yes!!! Thankfully, February wasn’t as bad as January but I’m just plain over Winter. It needs to end now. A lot of people don’t like March because it’s an ‘in between’ month – it can still be cold and snowy but warmer days pop up here and there and give hope that Spring is near. I personally love the month solely because it’s my birth month. So bring on March and becoming one year older and wiser!

Marathon Monday Week 1

I’m giving it a try again. Training for the Vermont City Marathon has begun. I’m nervous that this training cycle will end up like my last attempt but I’m taking it one run at a time. All fingers and toes are crossed for good luck!

  1. We’re definitely on the same wavelength–my post tomorrow is all about how much I am looking forward to spring running! March is always the mental switch to spring mode for me, even with a few cooler days thrown in.
