I’m always looking for new workout clothes. When you spend the majority of your time in them, you go through pieces fast. Plus, you want clothes that are functional and flattering. I recently was contacted by Body Language Sportswear to see if I was interested in trying a few of their pieces. I had never heard of the company but after looking at their website, I agreed. Everything looked cute!
Initially when I started to shop on their site, I was a little irritated. Some of the clothes had no pictures and none of the products had descriptions other than “a celeb favorite.” That’s nice but tell me how it fits! I finally decided on a pair of capris and a tank. I received an email a day later from the company saying that the capris weren’t available but maybe I’d like another style. No big deal but it would have been nice if the website was up to date on inventory.
Loved the look of everything except when I opened up the cami. Deodorant stains were on the front of it. That’s something I’ve never encountered from a mail order/internet order. Shopping in a store? Sure you may find that occasionally. That turned me off a little to the company.
Overall, I like the fit and look of the clothes. Really love the waistband on the capri. It’s a lower rise, perfect for my short torso and great for preventing muffin top. While I don’t think I would wear either piece running, they’re perfect for yoga, Barre and a gym session. The clothes seem well made, flattering and will hold up to sweaty workouts and multiple washings thanks to being made with Supplex and Lycra. However, if BSL would like to do more of an internet based business, they need to greatly improve their website design to make it user friendly. And of course, inspect their clothes more closely before shipping them out to customers. For the price of the clothes, you would expect more.
