One of the biggest problems I have when heading out for a run of any length is finding a spot to stash all of my stuff. I really dislike carrying my phone, water bottle, gels, etc in my hands. If it’s a long run, I purposely wear a skirt or capris that have a large enough pocket to hold my iPhone but that still leaves me carrying something. I’ve tried fuel belts but they just don’t fit right.
I was thrilled when Sprigs asked if I’d like to try their Big Banjees Wrist Wallet. It has lots of uses but I like that it’s marketed as a running wallet. It’s big enough to hold smartphones and also has a zippered pocket. Here’s a video demonstration. They come in great selection of colors.
Purple tie-dye? Oh yes!
I’ve worn the Banjees Wrist Wallet on two long runs and numerous short runs. My first impression was that it really doesn’t fit well on my wrist when I run. I slid it up to my forearm where it stayed in place better. Maybe it was the weight of my phone that made it slide around? I also was able to fit my house key and a gel in the zippered pocket. During each run, I never even noticed the weight of the phone. It stayed in place and was never in any danger of falling out of the pouch. It not only holds your gear but can be used to wipe sweat off your brow. I’ve washed it after every run, air dried it and it still fits great. No shrinking.
It’s perfect for when I take the kids and Cooper for a walk and need a place to stash tissues, keys, my debit card, lip balm, etc.
