Abs and Buns Workout + 2013 Challenges

I’ve got another fast workout for you today! Everyone’s favorite muscles to work –

BUNS and ABS!

Isn’t it fun to call your glutes, buns?

Do each move for 60 seconds. Repeat 3x for a quick workout that is under 30 minutes.

Upcoming Challenges!

I just want to pass on a few fun challenges that are coming up in January.

The first is from my friend, Laura. She has set up a fabulous event that will run January through June 2013. 

5 by the 5th Virtual Run Series.

The rules of the race are simply to run a 5K or 5 miler by the 5th of the month. There’s an option to run once or every month for a chance at winning great prizes. I’m in!

Another great virtual running challenge is from two of my fellow NH blends – Amy from Running Escapades and Janine from The Purple Giraffe.

The Chilly Challenge 2013!

The Chilly Challenge starts January 1st. All you do is log your miles from walking, running or the elliptical for the month. Fantastic prizes are up for grabs too! You must pick a team – Team Escapades or Team Giraffe. It was a hard decision to make.

Amy and I ran LoziLu together and got to meet Joan Benoit Samuelson.

But Janine and I played the bongos together in front of strangers at a bar. After only knowing each other for an hour.

It was a tough decision but I went with Team Escapades! And you should to! Let’s kick Team Giraffe’s butt and get 2013 started the right way!
