This month, we are sharing our favorite equipment based workouts for runners.

One of my favorite pieces of equipment to use in strength training is a Kettlebell.  Kettlebells are extremely versatile.  Not just for runners, but for anyone.   They take up minimal space (which makes it great for home use) and have so many options in exercises to work the whole body.

Give this workout a try and let me know what you think!

Do each exercise for 10 reps, rest 30 seconds between each and repeat 2-3 times.  If you need help with the exercises, a quick YouTube search will pull up examples.

  1. I love how much stronger strength training makes me feel. Probably my favorite overall move with equipment is the kettle bell swing. My whole body is working!
