Hey guys!

It’s that time of the week again – Meal Planning! I swear the weeks are flying by but winter seems like it’s lasting forever. Fingers crossed March is the turning point and we are all on our way to a warm spring. But not too warm too fast. We don’t need flooding problems!

Every week when I sit down to plan out our meals for the week, I consult my Pinterest boards. There’s the joke that no one ever makes anything they pin. I guess I’m odd because I do! Mostly it’s the recipes that I make. The craft projects? Not so much.

I thought I’d share with you 10 of my favorite foodie blogs who I get recipes/inspiration from every single week. Just check out my boards and you’ll see that they dominate from breakfast to dinner.

  1. Thanks for the round-up! I don’t really follow and food blogs but I will check these out. I do need inspiration, but I also need simple recipes for picky eaters!

  2. I love foodie blogs probably because that is why I started blogging and had a food blog for a few year. Loved it but it became tedious after a while… and a bit expensive. But I do still follow my favorite: Green Kitchen Stories, Cookie + Kate, Happyolks, and Local Milk.

    1. I can’t imagine all the work that goes into food blogs. I know just with coming up with my simple recipes and horrible photos, that it’s not easy! Thanks for the recommendations!

  3. I think I plan healthy meals for my family and then I read your blog…your stuff looks amazing. My teenagers are so picky! Plus they have food allergies and I have some major food sensitivities. I work with what I can. My youngest has taken to drinking fruit smoothies in the morning, so that is a step in the right direction!

    This week we are having fajitas with skirt steak and green peppers; a tuscan pasta; swedish meatballs using ground chicken breast. I saw that Honey Cashew Chicken, but with nut allergies at our house, it is a no go :( I thought about making it with peanuts…that isn’t a problem here.

    1. Kids are so tough! My kids are picky but I refuse to let them squash my love for good food. I definitely think you can leave out the cashews and sub in peanuts. I’ve made it before and it’s REALLY good!
